Ideally located less than a mile from the town centre, with good local bus, rail, and road links on our doorstep, Whiteoaks Rest Home is a family owned and run care home with 31 luxuriously appointed en-suite bedrooms.

Whiteoaks has always welcomed everyone who enters, into a warm and friendly atmosphere, much like any family home. We pride ourselves on caring like only a family can by offering care that is based on true family values, such as love, respect, honesty, dignity, privacy, choice, compassion and trust.

Focusing on the individual needs of each service user, we pay particular attention to their physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs to ensure they receive the best possible care based on their own aspirations.

Whiteoaks Rest Home provides care and accommodation for up to 38 elderly adults including married, unmarried or same sex couple who might require help with daily living or just need to know that someone is on hand 24/7 to meet all their needs.

Whiteoaks does not provide dementia or nursing care. However, we work closely with the local GP’s, district nurses and other health professionals to ensure our service users have access to the necessary services.

We also work with the Southern Hampshire Primary Care Alliance service, which provides us with access to Doctors and nurses 24/7.

Whiteoaks Rest Home also offers respite care, with a minimum two week stay. At the end of the respite care, if you are not quite ready to return home, you are more than welcome to extend your stay until you are ready to return home.
